Thank you for purchasing and using SMART TabbyBoo® trademarked products.
With this information, we would like to inform you about the warranty of the products sold and delivered by us.
All the products and their accessories commercialized by BEST ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L. benefit from a guarantee of conformity, in compliance with the legal provisions, for the period expressly specified in the Guarantee Certificate. The warranty period starts from the date the purchased product comes into your possession. If delivery is made by courier, the date of receipt of the parcel will be taken into account.
For all products sold by us, you benefit from a Guarantee Certificate. You will find this certificate inside the product box. Please keep the certificate together with the invoice and proof of payment for as long as it is valid in order to be able to benefit from the warranty in case of need. If you have not received the printed warranty certificate, please notify us within 72 hours of receipt of the product at the latest by calling or e-mailing us at the telephone number or e-mail address listed in the “Contact details” section of our website:https: //smarttabbyboo.com/
If the product breaks down during the warranty period, we provide repair of the product. To do so, you will have to fill in a product repair form, on the basis of which we will send a courier to collect the product from you and, once we have found the defect under warranty, we will repair it and return it to you by courier. The transportation costs will be borne by us in this case.
Attention! The repair of the product, for the period stated in the Warranty Certificate, is provided for cases in which our products have a manufacturing defect or for cases in which there is a lack of conformity.
Conditions for not granting the guarantee:
(a) modification, disassembly or repair of the product carried out by persons other than BEST ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L.;
(b) damage to the product caused by accidents or intentionally caused by man, such as, but not limited to: contact with liquids, metals or other substances inside the equipment, mechanical actions (dropping, hitting, banging, etc.) on the product, removal or damage to warranty labels or seals, plastic or mechanical intervention on the product, connecting or disconnecting certain components during operation of the equipment, incorrect settings and installations, powering the product using an ungrounded outlet;
(c) use of the product under unsuitable conditions such as, but not limited to: improper supply voltages, exposure to large variations in temperature and pressure, mechanical shock, improper handling, use of the products in humid, dusty, noxious or chemical conditions;
(d) damage or failure of the product due to installation, use, maintenance or storage not in accordance with the instructions provided;
(e) inconsistency between the model or product number on the guarantee certificate and the physical product or amendment of the guarantee certificate;
(f) expiry of the guarantee period;
(g) breakdown or damage caused by force majeure factors such as, but not limited to: fire, earthquake, flood.
Please use the product charger only! If you use any other charger, there is a risk of destroying the battery by burning the motherboard, in which case you will lose your warranty.
Any repair or replacement of products will be made within a reasonable period of time, taking into account the nature of the defect. The period of time set for repairs or replacements starts to run from the date on which the purchaser notifies us of the product’s deficiencies and may not exceed the maximum period of time provided for by applicable law.
If your product breaks down during the warranty period, we offer you the following services free of charge (including transportation), through our authorized service contract:
(1) display/touchscreen replacement;
(2) battery replacement or battery up-grade;
(3) base plate replacement;
(4) replacing side buttons, camera, speakers or other small modular parts;
(5) failure ascertainment by specialized technical estimate.
If your product breaks down outside the warranty period, you can take advantage of our service for a fee, including transportation.
The rights of natural persons, as consumers, provided by Law no. 449/2003 on the sale of products and guarantees associated with them with subsequent amendments and additions, as well as Ordinance no. 21/1992 on consumer protection, with subsequent amendments and additions, are not affected by these provisions regarding the warranty of the purchased product.
